Instinctively we know if we ask core questions, the answers will bring profound change. We also know change is at best uncomfortable, at worst traumatic, so we do not ask the dangerous questions. We do not deliberately invite the forces of change into our lives. But for most of us, there comes a time when avoiding change either becomes impossible—or more painful than the decision to embrace it. If you have been living with the nagging feeling there is some task undone, something waiting, a path you must find and walk—something you must be or do before your life is done—or if circumstances have upended your old life plan, it is time to step into your power and become your own Map Maker.
